what da fuck

We resell this one service. Not a big part of our business or anything, and it's more of a pain in the ass than it's worth. Anyway, my boss was having problems with his service like four weeks ago, and called tech support. They just now called back to "follow up" on the ticket. Being a customer service "professional" myself, I thought this was bullshit. So I ask the guy for the date the ticket was submitted, and what the ticket number is.

"I'm not supposed to release that information to anyone except for the person on the account or the person who opened the ticket" says robot.

"Uh, you do realize that we're resellers of your service, and that this is a corporate account we're talking about here, right?" I ask

"Yes, I can see all of that on my screen... here. But out privacy policy does not permit us to give out personal information about-"

"I'm not asking for personal information. I already know this person. He's my boss. I work for him. I'm asking for a ticket number and the date it was submitted so he knows what the hell I'm talking about when I pass on the message to him. What could I possibly do with that information?" I interjected.

"Our policy-" ROBOT!

"Either your policy is ridiculous, or you're too embarrassed to admit that you waited a month to follow up on this. Have a nice day" click.

you're just crazy, robots aren't like that at all. Maybe you'd know that if you weren't to busy sucking dick and bitching about everything.
